Our Network Operations Center watches the health of your servers’ hardware and software 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We apply a set of monitoring policies to each of your servers, based on which ports, services, and processes they are currently running. Our agents then continuously monitor information sources like performance counters and event logs to keep tabs on how your servers are doing. If a service stops, an application records an error, or a critical hardware or performance threshold is hit, an alert goes out to our Network Operations Center and our technicians respond.
The IGI Network Operations Center securely monitors and manages your application server(s) to ensure that all your applications are being utilized efficiently by the associated clients. This type of support covers a wide range of applications from Microsoft Exchange to Oracle database applications. If an application should stop functioning, our Network Operations Center raises an alert and our support team addresses the issue based upon established SLA’s.
Each alert raised by the monitoring agents is categorized by our Network Operations Center based on its potential impact to your business. All alerts that require action get a ticket opened for them, and our support team works to find solutions to the issues 24/7. Critical alerts are escalated to our on-call engineer for immediate action, based on the critical alert response time window that you choose.
Every month we’ll provide a detailed report that gives you a complete picture of your servers’ health, including key performance trends, patch management, and antivirus protection
We’ll regularly collect and report on important server performance metrics, such as available disk storage and CPU and memory utilization. Over time, this information can help us determine specific performance issues that you may be likely to experience. We also use the information to help predict when your servers may need to be upgraded or replaced.
Microsoft security updates are always being issued and we’ll keep your server up-to-date with the latest patches and service packs. But before we install them, we analyze and test each security update to make sure it’s not going to interact negatively with other common server software. Once an update gets the green light, we perform a monthly install and reboot—after hours, so your business operations aren’t interrupted.
IGI offers, at discounted rates, Webroot SecureAnywhere Enterprise endpoint protection. But whether you take advantage of the Webroot software or not, we’ll check your virus definitions every 4 hours to make sure they’re up-to-date.
